About the Podcast

Voices of the Vigilant launched in January 2025 as a companion podcast to Vigilant Violet, a small, independent coaching and consulting firm in the cybersecurity space. It seeks to build and share knowledge by engaging with diverse voices and perspectives from within the cybersecurity industry. Host Jess Vachon brings more than two decades of deep field experience and specialized insights as a cybersecurity leader. She features guests who are disrupting the tech industry with fresh takes on transformation, the future of work, leadership, and human connection in our complex, fast-paced, ever-evolving digital world.

Meet the Host, Jess Vachon

Jess Vachon (she/her) currently serves as Global CISO for an international financial services company. As Rebel-in-Charge at Vigilant Violet, LLC, she provides fractional CISO services, consulting, coaching, public speaking, and talent acquisition services that empower businesses and individuals to take ownership of their career paths. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Master’s in Project Management from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire and is a fierce advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.
